Minerva Police Report

On June 1, 9:46 p.m. police arrested Mercedes Boyle-Keen, Massillon on a warrant out of Minerva Mayors court for failure to pay fines and cost for drug abuse and overtaking passing to right. Information was obtained for a report. Boyle-Keen posted bond and the warrant canceled.

On June 2, 11 a.m. police received a report for a nuisance complaint for properties on N. Main St. Roger Bartley, Minerva was charged with property maintenance/exterior. Information was obtained for a report and Bartley is scheduled to appear in Minerva Mayors court.

On June 2, 13:39 p.m. police received a report for a nuisance complaint for properties on Yoder Ct. and W. Line St. Anthony Bolin, Minerva was charged with littering, unlicensed/junk motor vehicles, accumulation personal property not in use/construction debris and property maintenance. Information was obtained for a report and Bolin is scheduled to appear in Minerva Mayors court.

On June 3, 12:20 a.m. while on a traffic stop police arrested Erick Wilson, Minerva with driving under the influence and driving under suspension. Information was obtained for a report. Wilson was transported to Carroll County jail and is scheduled to appear in Carroll County court.

On June 4, 12:18 p.m. police arrested a juvenile for a warrant out of Columbiana County for delinquent/runaway. Information was obtained for a report and the juvenile was turned over to Columbiana County.

On June 4, 8:46 p.m. police received a report for a disorderly subject at a business on E. Lincoln Way. Philip Ray, Minerva was charged with disorderly conduct. Information was obtained for a report and Ray is scheduled to appear in Minerva Mayors court.

On June 5, 2:49 p.m. police received a report for a sex offense. Information was obtained for a report.

On June 5, 4:34 p.m. police received a report for a narcotics investigation at a residence on Murray Avenue. Information was obtained for a report. Report was sent to Carroll County Jobs and Family services and Carroll County juvenile probation for review.

On June 6, 4:29 a.m. police received a report for a suicide attempt at a residence on W. First Street. The subject was located and transported by EMS to the hospital for treatment. Information was obtained for a report.

On June 7, 10:26 a.m. police received a report for fraud from a residence on E. Line Street. Information was obtained for a report.

On June 7, 1:23 p.m. police received a report for a theft from a vehicle at a residence on Latzer Avenue. Information was obtained for a report.

On June 8, 12:44 a.m. police received a report for a domestic dispute at a residence on Scranton Boulevard. Information was obtained for a report and sent to the prosecutor's office for review.

On June 8, 1:16 a.m. police received a report for a neighbor dispute at a residence on Carolyn Ct. Tammy Essig, Minerva was charged with disorderly conduct. Information was obtained for a report. Essig was transported to the Carroll County jail and is scheduled to appear in Carroll County court.

On June 8, 9:21 a.m. police received a report for threats/harassment from a business on Union Avenue. Information was obtained for a report.

On June 8, 11:21 a.m. police received a report for a domestic dispute from a residence on Radloff Avenue. Information was obtained for a report.

On June 8, 2:46 p.m. police received a report for a theft from a business on Alliance Road. Shane Spahr, Minerva was charged with theft. Information was obtained for a report and Spahr is scheduled to appear in Minerva Mayors court.

Accidents

On June 1, 1:43 p.m. a vehicle operated by Richard Russell, Minerva struck a vehicle operated by Loree Lautzenheiser, East Rochester which then struck a vehicle operated by Chad Madison, Minerva on W. Lincoln Way. Minor injuries and heavy damage reported. Russell was cited for assured clear distance and seatbelt violation and is scheduled to appear in Minerva Mayors court.

On June 2, 2:39 p.m. a vehicle operated by Judy Converse, Minerva struck a vehicle operated by Timothy Roof, Mechanicstown on W. Lincoln Way. No injuries and light damage reported. Converse was cited for assured clear distance and is scheduled to appear in Minerva Mayors court.

On June 6, 2:51 p.m. a vehicle operated by Robert Higginbotham, Minerva and a vehicle operated by Ashley Bartley, East Rochester collided together on North Market Street. and damaged to both mirrors.

On June 8, 6:14 a.m. a hit/skip vehicle struck a garbage can and mail box in front of a residence on Grant Boulevard. Vehicle parts were collect from the scene.
